Confidence is collapsing and government debt is out of control.

We are in the middle of a cataclysmic crisis that will reverberate far into the future. After years of borrowing with no plan of repaying the money, governments in the Western world are poised to default. Historically, this has created a domino effect where one country after another experiences a debt crisis. It is these sovereign debt crises that create the biggest social upheavals, meaning:

  • High unemployment
  • Civil Unrest
  • Confiscation of Assets
  • Global War

What People Are Saying

Moses Kim possesses a unique insight into money, investing and economics which few contemporary writers of today’s world events truly understand.  His calm and deliberate analysis of world events contradicts the popular impulsive trend to act now, but rather to wisely observe the real movers of impacting long-term financial happenings.  Moses’ simple explanations and plain language make sense.  He has helped me to observe restraint when other popular writers call for suggested unwise moves.

Serious long-term investors who seek sensible investing and money advice will do well to listen to what Moses Kim thinks in the overall view of world events.  He has helped me a great deal to think things through for myself before making any changes to my portfolio.  And it has always been for the better.

When the inevitable big changes come our way, I want to hear what Moses is thinking!

About Moses Kim

Moses Kim is an investor, entrepreneur, and all-around nerd. I graduated in 2008 with a degree in History from Columbia University right around the time of the housing crisis. Instead of doing my schoolwork, I would carry around and study 10 books at a time about investing. Then I would warn anyone within earshot of the impending crisis.

Those were the days!

In 2011, I saw an opportunity in real estate in Las Vegas and created a fund, which I currently manage. I am now on the lookout for the next big investment, which I strongly suspect will be in Asia or Africa.

I started this blog to offer a fresh perspective on economics and investing that isn’t clouded by the flawed theory so often taught in school. I believe we are at a critical turning point in history that is underappreciated. As of this writing in late 2014, a major sovereign debt crisis has yet to sweep the globe. I think that’s about to change.

In addition to writing this blog, I am a contributor on Seeking Alpha and Zero Hedge.

I love reading and think it is a critical to successful investing. You can get a link to my reading recommendations here. For ongoing recommendations, subscribe below.
